Fall fashion this year seems to have snuck up on us. The endless quarantine summer has finally come to an end, and life is returning to some semblance of normalcy. Most of us are going back to school, whether that’s in person, or online, or even both (my school’s approach), and if you’re anything like me, you’ve been wearing sweats since march. I love to try out new outfits and take risks, but being basically stuck at home for the last 7 months has left me without the will to actually put myself together. So, not only will this article hopefully help you create a new fall wardrobe, it will help me as well! (We’re all in this together.)
While jewel tones and neutrals are traditional for fall, I’ve been seeing pastels on the scene. Light blues, greens, and yellows paired with some mom jeans or a tennis skirt is all I can think about.
Speaking of tennis skirts, I can’t open pinterest without seeing one. I’m a tennis player, so luckily I don’t have to make my way to lululemon to put together a cute outfit. White tennis skirts + navy crew neck + collared shirt = perfection! I absolutely love this trend, and now I can wear my tennis practice clothes to school while still being on trend.
And although I do love a cute cardigan, when the weather drops below 50 you won’t catch me wearing something light. You can never go wrong with a classic ivory sweater or cardigan, but if you’re looking to ~spice it up~, try layering with a collared shirt and pairing it with some brown or black leather pants (faux of course).

For a more comfy casual look, try out this fleece-lined hoodie flannel jacket. Yes, it is a men’s jacket, but the real ones know the comfiest clothes are found in the mens section. I think this is absolutely perfect with leggings and some Nike air force one’s or timbs. Doesn’t it look so comfy?
Happy fall shopping!!
